What To Do If Your Roof Was Damaged In a Storm

After a hail or wind storm in the Twin Cities area, homeowners are often unsure whether their roof or siding has been damaged. Not all storm damage is visible from the ground, and waiting too long can allow leaks and interior damage to develop.

If you suspect storm damage:

  • Do not climb onto your roof yourself — damaged shingles can be loose and dangerous

  • Look for missing shingles, dents in gutters, or damaged siding from the ground

  • Check ceilings or attic spaces for water spots or new leaks

  • Take photos of visible damage if it is safe to do so

  • Contact a professional contractor for an inspection as soon as possible

Limitless Exteriors provides storm damage inspections for homeowners based in Andover and serving the Twin Cities metro area.
